due to internet connection problems i couldn't post anything the last days...so now that the connection is back to normal(or so i hope) i decided to share with you my first brave attempt to go out barelegged on a tuesday morning!and then the weather was so great that i started pulling out sandals and summer dresses!and i realised that summer is here for good!and no matter how much work i ve got for university the sun and the cloudless always makes my day!and now all we have to do is grab our bikinis and head for the beach!or am i too impatient?

i 'm sick of the weather!!!i guess i'm not the only one...it's either too hot or too cold...and now it's raining!really what's going on here?it's may...we 're supposed to plan our summer holidays,buy bikinis and give up tights!and they say it's going to be like that the whole month!i don't want to carry an umbrella anymore, i want to see people wearing summer clothes, i want to stay out all day and enjoy the sun!well i'm sorry for the pessimistic tone of this post but i really felt can't take it anymore!and the worst part is that i'm still wearing my winter coat in the evenings...it's may for goodness sake!

so here i am with a folder full of photos from barcelona trying to decide which of them should i upload...ok that was a tough job because there were lots of them! i don't really know if that was my impression but in this city there was art everywhere...on the bags of a local boutique:p.s:there were indeed pretty dresses inside that bag!

i just came back from barcelona...i guess that gives me an excuse for not posting anything this last week...maybe not!anyway this trip was mostly an architecture one so there was not much time for shopping(don't worry street art post is coming soon) but me and my friends decided to sacrifice some museums in order to visit the local shops!and i can tell you one thing for sure:we didn't regret it!!!

first of all this bag:

made of natural fibre with leather handles and it only cost 15euros!it's huge and perfect for the beach or an afternoon walk on the island...i would say perfect for the food market too...much more classy than these plastic bags or even the canvas bag i'm always carrying...

that polka dot skirt was love at first sight though i had to go to the shop twice in order to decide to buy it...i'm rather indecisive most of the times! it's a spanish brand which you can check out here

last but not least i bought this hair accessory which can be worn as a bracelet too!actually in spain they celebrate st.jordi day during which boys give girls a red rose and girls gine boys a book!so people in the street were selling red roses and books and there was this cute lady who sold hair accessories and brooches with red felt roses on them!

p.s. me and my friends received a red rose from a guy in the street during our enening walk!very cute!

easter traditions!

i ve been a reaaaally bad blogger these last days...shame on me!well you know how it goes: it is the easter holidays, i am not in athens and the computer here is very very old!so i guess you ll excuse me!hehe...so these last days i ve been seeing old friends and helping the family with the easter traditions...these are the eggs!i just love their colour!

and finally this is a vintage clutch my mother gave me when i told her i needed a clutch to match with grey clothes...i really love it!

being a tourist in your own city:street art and the lofts

last week i decided to take a walk in exarheia...and by that i mean walking really slow in order to notice everything that happens in this beautiful and yet misunderstood neighbourhood...i couldn't resist to the beauty of these neglected houses or the graffitis on every wall...
