nice day nice things

so here i am back in town unpacking suitcases, organizing my photos, doing some housework and trying desperately to study...and all i can do is keep thinking of summer holidays!i really have to concentrate on physics but before that i d like to show you a little boutique i discovered in syros!

as you can see i bought a little something...

i just couldn't take my eyes off this bikini so i bought it without second thought...i contemplated buying the dress as well but i hesitated and bought a mocha cardigan instead.all clothes and accessories in this shop were spanish and here you can find more info about this brand!

sur la route des vacances...

excuse my absence...i blame it on the heat, the beach, the cocktails, the watermelon, the long seaside walks...i just came back to athens after spending one week in Syros and another two in a village outside Korinthos!i'm in Athens for the week trying to catch up with friends and packing my suitcase as i'm leaving tomorrow for mytilene!so many things to do, so little time!still it's good to know that vacation is not over yet...

nathalie of naked tile tagged me to reveal 10 things about myself!and although it's been a long time since then i 'm now ready to make the damn post!!!

1. i love music.though i never learned how to play an instrument, i can spend hours listenning to my favourite music which includes the beattles, elvis, bob marley, manu chao and many many more...


2. i read a lot. sometimes maybe too much. i ve read harry potter and the halfblood prince all in one day.


3. i write a lot too. when i was younger i wanted to be a writer...i kept a diary and started writting stories which never finished. i 'm thinking of publishing some of my diaries one day...


4. my favourite novel ever is little women by louisa may alcott. and of course my favourite character is jo march!


5. i also love arts! when i was younger, i was drawing all the time. i stopped for a while but after graduation i started sketching again...


6. i 'm a rather indecissive person but the most important decisions of my life were taken after little or no consideration.


7. i'm obsessed with the 60's: music, fashion, films, books...


8. i admire le corbusier. though his work caused a lot of controversy i 've always thought he was a genius. i wish i could live in one of his buildings!


9. when i was very little i was afraid of men with beards and lond hair...i would burst into tears when such a person approached me...now i feel ashamed of that!


10. i love to cook. if i don't succeed in architecture i might become a cook! my latest achievement was a lemon pie...

really baaad day...

so today was a rather unpleasant day...i was cheching my exam's results only to realise that i got a 0(!) in computers!that was quite a shock because i thought i had studied a lot....so i headed to the teacher's office, sure that there must have been a mistake.Well, in brief he accused me of cheating(which i swear is untrue) and refused to show me my paper no matter how hard i tried to make him do that! and then he just ignored me and started doing other things!

so question no 1:can he fail so many people after the exam has taken place?he wasn't even there when we were taking the tests...

question no 2:why would he refuse to show me my test if he was so sure i cheated?

question no 3:why greek universities have to be so disorganized?

just wondering...

peacocks and concerts...

spending the last four days studying, taking exams and recovering from a cold i decided it was time to take advantage of the sales' period and go for some shopping...i didn't buy many things though!the shops were too crowded and it was quite a mess!so i headed straight for accesorize where i discovered these beauties...at first i thouht they were a bit too eccentric but as they were on sales i decided to buy them...

surprise!they are colour coordinated with an old zara top...

...and the tickets for the lp concert!it's been a long time since the last time i was listenning to meteora or hybrid theory but my teenage self would never forgive me if i wasn't at the concert!

lost in space

so yesterday was my friend's birthday party!it was a refreshing break from a week of studying and it was quite fun...we met some old schoolmates, danced a little and cut the cake...after that i sleeped over at my friend's E house and i arrived at home just a couple of hours ago only to realize that i m taking another exam on wednesday and i should finish my project!well it was definetely worth it so i won't be complaining!

p.s: 1.i'm so sorry i couldn't make it to the blogger's meeting but i'm sure there ll be another one soon!
2.as you might notice i also made the birthday card...

i should be getting back to work now...nighty night!

the shoe issue

shoes, shoes, shoes...we re wearing them to impress, to match the outfit, to be warm, to be protected maybe just to feel comfortable...lately i have developped a strange addiction to take photos of other peoples feet(shoes included)...Some of them like it, some hate it, some even make fun of me!looking through my archives i found the following pics including friends and relatives' shoes along with mine...

yesterday was another lovely day!lopi invited us all to a graffiti art exhibition realised in K44...so right after university i headed to gazi to meet the other girls and go there.so here they are photos of the works:

summer lovin, had me a blast!!!

first things first i d like to thank nina and onic for tagging me with two lovely blog awards!!!thank you girls!!!since i am always the last one to do the tagging almost everyone i wanted to tag is already tagged...snif!so everyone who 's reading this feel free to tag yourselves!!!

having read lopi's and chloe's posts on bikinis i decided to make my own summer post! so this post is dedicated to another summer issue:flip flops...i'm kinda obsessed with flip flops...they seem to be the ultimate summer gadget(if you may call flip flops a gadget)!they can be washed over and over again and match with almost everything:from bikinis to cutoffs and casual skirts....

i really love these but they seem isnanely expensive for a pair of plastic flip flops... but still wonderful!

and this is what i have in my posession:

so find the perfect bikini and matching flip flops and run to the nearest beach!!!have fun!

last weekend...

...so last weekend as i have told you before i attended a wedding...though i am not a fan of weddings in general this one was quite original...and i think we all enjoyed it!
